What if, instead of fighting about this issue, we all banded together and demanded more research be done and safer vaccines?
What if we spent all this time and energy on lobbying for a solution that we all can agree on, instead of posing laws that either restrict freedom or protect a choice that potentially endangers others?
What if we take this money from the law suits we're threatening each other with for spreading viruses to each other, and create an unbiased foundation for research into this issue, with scientists from both sides of the argument, to work together to find a safer alternative?
What if we tried to solve problems, instead of creating them?
What if we treated each other with compassion and understanding, instead of anger and contempt?
What if?
I'm tired of fighting. I just want my daughter, and all my children, to be safe. I'm sure that is what fuels the antivaccination agenda, as well. We all have the same goal, but different opinions of how to achieve it.
What if we start from what we have in common to find a solution that fits us all?
