we were released from the hospital yesterday; we're home and kai is doing very well. her broviac is out and we can do things like take a bath in the big tub and go swimming now!
she still has an ng-tube through which we are feeding her breast milk and supplemental organic formula (she gets 36oz of fluid through the tube and i'm only able to pump about 12-16 each day so far). we're working with her several times each day to teach her how to eat so we can get rid of the tube for good. she loves cheese, green beans and water.
she's also been using her legs to kick and scoot all over the place. she's amazingly strong. someday she'll be giving beckham a run for his money!
