Liver Mommas & Families, NPO!

Many years ago, I started a group on Facebook for friends I had met in the pediatric Liver Transplant community to offer support to one another. We started a holiday tradition, bringing gifts and dinner to children and their families "stuck" in the hospital over the Christmas holiday.

Today, our support group has hundreds of members - parents and caregivers of children with life-threatening pediatric liver disease - from all over the world. We've carried on our holiday tradition and turned it into an annual drive: The Jingle Bell Drive. We have begun networking with other charities to help get children who need transplants, and live in countries where transplant facilities aren't available, to countries and hospitals that can help. We work with hospital social workers and child-life specialists to help define and fulfill needs of the pediatric wing of those hospitals.

As of October 2015, Liver Mommas & Families was approved as an official Non-Profit Organization, and all donations are tex deductible!

We plan to expand our outreach and continue our work, world-wide.

If you would like to donate, you can do so, here: www.livermommas.org
